So our eldest daughter fled the nest last October, moving to York University to study for her masters in nursing. I will admit I was totally unprepared for the sense of loss I experienced when she left. Thankfully I have her beautiful younger sister still at home which made it slightly more bearable.
I have been sending our uni girl little encouragement cards and gift tokens and what better way to send a coffee gift card than to enclose it in a cute little envelope inside a shaker card?
I love making shaker cards, they really don’t take that much time and they are so effective and my daughter really loved it!
I used my much loved envelope punch board to make the envelope for the gift card and cut out another coffee cup to use as a band around the envelope.
