This card was a true labour of love but then the friend I am sending it to is very special. I lived in Beijing for 4 year and she was posted out there with me and managed to make our posting almost feel like we were home. We are very similar and whilst we were out there we created our own card business and sold cards to people form across all Embassies from all over the world.

She loves the same colours as I do so I knew I wanted to use greens, browns and grays and I wanted to use vellum over the gorgeous patterned paper. It doesn’t show up too well here but the vellum has been painted with the champagne mist shimmer paint (I promise it looks better in real life)

I added the sentiment and clear embossed it then added tiny pearls to the indents on the embossed frame. I added foam strips to raise the frame from the card. I hope she likes it!
I will be back again tomorrow with the list of retiring items from the current catalogue in preparation of the new catalogue which goes live in June (message me if you would like to receive a copy of the new catalogue when it comes out). I will be holding a New Catalogue Release party in Kenilworth, I will confirm the date soon. Until then
