So I’ve been busy preparing for our new dog arrival, we’ve adopted another dog from Romania and he’s leaving today and arriving on Friday. I hope he fits in well with our other three rescue dogs.
I have been playing though, my craft studio is my happy place. Today I decided to see how versatile the designer series paper is and I hope you find my examples helpful. The above card was made by cutting some of the beautiful flowers on the paper and adding them to a heart cut from the same paper. I stamp the sentiments onto Fresh Fig cardstock and emboss them with white embossing powder.

I cut out a rectangle from paper for the above example and coloured it in. I then added it on dimensionals to the uncoloured piece and stamped the sentiment, black embossed it and fussy cut it out to stick on top.

This final card has a bit of vellum to soften the background paper and then I fussy cut the butterflies from the designer series paper. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out and attached it to the card using dimensionals and to add a bit of bling I added some diamontes.
I am eagerly awaiting my delivery of pre ordered stash from the new catalogue and I can’t wait to play with all my goodies. I hope, in the meantime, that you find the above cards a useful tool to help you make more use of your designer series paper. Until next time
