Sadly I lost my mother when I was 11 and Marks mum passed away a couple of years ago so Mothers Day is not a big event on our calendar however a friend asked if I could create a Mothers Day card for her mum and she asked for purples, “well” I thought, “I know just the suite!”
This suite is so beautiful and, as always with Stampin UP!, everything works so well together.
I thought I would make something a little different from the standard C6 card but I wanted it to fit in a C6 envelope so I made this folded card.
Using the dies I made the flower head 3D and added some yellow dots to the centre of the flowers and I added an accent from the Forever Gold ;Asher cut paper.
As she had asked for a “bit of subtle bling” so I added some wink of stellar to the leaves and the flower and then on the inside I added some tiny gems to the inside greeting.
I also added a little bit of green colouring to the leaves and the yellow dots again to the centre of the flowers.
Thankfully she loved the card when I gave it to her and I hope her mum will like it just as much tomorrow. I have listed all the supplies I used today below and you can purchase them all using the SHOP NOW button.
