When I first looked through the new catalogue I fell in love with all the suites and the bundles and it was only when I looked again that I realised I had overlooked a gem of a stamp set. At only £16.00 this stamp set had lovely sentiments and a two step image that just called out to me.

With this card I stamped the flower in green and then embossed the second stamp using gold embossing powder, I then ran it through the tasteful textile embossing folder. I used one of the new stencils to create the background behind the white cutout. I then stamped and gold embossed the sentiment and used the gold simply elegant trim to “stitch” the holes in the die cut piece.

With this card I stamped the first step in green again and then embossed the second step in white along with the sentiment. I used the same embossing folder for the white background and then tied some linen thread around to give it a focal point. I then took my trio punch to add a bit of interest to the corners.
I really enjoyed making these very quick cards and I really love the stamp set so I am sure I will be using it quite a lot in the future. It just goes to show that sometimes the simplest sets are the most gorgeous.
I have been down to Gatwick this week to take our youngest daughter for her class 1 medical which she will need to become a commercial pilot. Thankfully she passed so that was good but I had to drive back up to the midlands in a very drawn out thunderstorm and torrential rain – not fun at all. Still we made it back home safe and sound.
Hope you are all safe and well and until next time
