A Card Sketch Challenge

Uncategorized

5 Jun

I recently stumbled across a fellow Stampin Up demonstrators page on Facebook. Her name is Fiona Carson and I think she lives in New Zealand. She is a super talented lady and I found two card sketches on her facebook page with the question round or square?

Well, with such a lovely sketch to use I decided to try both. Have a look and see which one you prefer.

This is my round version, I used an embossing folder on the card base for this example and used both sides of the patterned paper.

For my square card I reversed the patterned paper and didn’t use the embossing folder. I really enjoyed making these cards. They are unfussy and simple but still beautiful.

I will make sure I check in to Fiona’s page again and try out more sketches in the future. If you have a go I would love to see your cards in the comments below.

I am now off to sit in the sun for a while.

Until next time
