Day Two of my Christmas in July Series

Uncategorized

12 Jul
This is a picture of a handmade Christmas card featuring the Painted Christmas Suite from Stampin Up. It shows pinecones, fir sprigs, holly leaves and a ribbon bow from my Christmas In July Series

This card was made using one of the gorgeous new suites in the upcoming catalogue as part of my Christmas in July series. I used some of the gorgeous shimmer vellum from the annual catalogue to bring in sparkle to the card and I also used my Wink of Stellar pen to go over the pinecones so they too, have a touch of sparkle.

The ribbon in this suite is just beautiful and ties so easily. So much so, that I had to make a triple bow! I’m actually starting to feel quite Christmassy which isn’t too hard as the weather has been grey and miserable the past couple of days. I will continue the Christmas in July series throughout this week.

I managed to plant all my roses, and protect them from the ever inquisitive Mackeson who loves to dig out anything that I plant.

This is a photo of 3 rescue dogs in the back garden, playing

Mac is the dog with the ball here. This was taken earlier in the year after we had filled all the holes in that he had dug! The grey dog is Miller, she’s very gentle and loves playing with Mac and the big white fluffy hound is Wadders – he’s a Mioritic shepherd dog and is a big scardy cat.

And this is Bailey, she’s a toy poodle and the one most likely to keep me company in my craft room. In this photo she’s in her bed at work with me. She loves coming to work and having some time away from the big dogs.

Why not check out my day 1 post from my Christmas in July post here. I shall be back tomorrow with another Christmas in July post, until then
