And why not? I have to say that Merriest Moments is officially my favourite bundle from the mini catalogue. It is just so versatile and to prove my point I have three more cards for you, including my obligatory shaker card. I promise I will come back using Merriest Moments to make cards other than Christmas to show how you can user this set all year round.

So my first card is the shaker card. I used less traditional colours for these cards as requested by my friend who loves pink! I stamped the greeting onto the acetate and heat embossed it Using mirror silver card for the cut out embossed piece adds a bit of wow to the card (and also means I don’t have to really add anything else so it’s super quick)

With this card I used vellum to soften the background and then used Fresh Freesia card stock again to create the frame. I silver embossed the greeting and then layered a poinsettia flower for a focal point int he left corner.

For my final card I used some of the gorgeous Penguin DSP which was free with the saleabration offer, but if you missed out, you can still buy the stamp set and punch and create your own penguin. I coloured him in using my Wink of Stella glitter pen just to give him some extra sparkle and then I added a few gems for some extra bling.
You can see some of my other cards using this bundle here https://stampinghappiness.com/2021/10/04/merriest-moments-christmas-stampin-up/ and here https://stampinghappiness.com/2021/07/13/continuing-my-christmas-in-july/
I hope I’ve given you some more ideas using less traditional colours. If you decided to buy the bundle from me during the month of October I will send you instructions on how to create the cards featured on the blog today as a little thank you and as always, if you make any of them, please post a picture in the comments below so I can have a look.
Until next time
