Flowering Flowers

Uncategorized

3 Feb

I love cards with fancy folds are they often look very classy and the best thing about them is that they don’t take much time to create at all. The Lovely new Flowering Flowers stamp set is perfect for creating this type of card as it has 3 images of varying sizes. I wanted to create some single colour cards to show that you don’t need to have lots of different coloured inks and cardstock to create beautiful cards.

On this card `I used the stamp set to create my own designer series paper and on the white front panel I stamped the image and then ran it through my embossing machine to add some texture to it. I then used the largest stamp image to stamp a off the edge border down the side of the inside panel.

This is the same card design using different colours but instead of stamping my own DSP I ran the cardstock through my embossing machine to create a raised pattern. I used the largest of the images to create a single flower on the front panel which I then cut out and stuck down with dimensionals. I rant the white panel through the embossing machine again and then used the same stamp to add the pattern down the side of the internal panel.

I love the gold bees so I added one to each of the sentiment pieces to add some additional interest.

Don’t forget that Sale-a-Bration is still running and for every £45 you spend you will be entitled to a free stamp set or paper pack from the saleabration catalogue – just click on the shop now button an you will be taken straight to my shop.

I am now off to continue reorganising my craft room as I have recently started scrapbooking again, so I’ve been stocking up on some gorgeous new goodies to play with.

Until next time
