I am really enjoying making square cards at the moment. There’s just something very symmetrical about them. The two I am showing you here are part of a set that I created, you can see the other cards here https://stampinghappiness.com/2022/03/07/all-about-squares/. They are super quick to create but very effective.
With this card I use my butterfly embossing folder to emboss a strip on the card and then I stamped two flowers images off the corner of the card. I used my lovely blenders to colour them in. I then cut out a butterfly and left it white to keep the only real pop of colour on the card as the corner flowers. I stamped my greeting in Cherry Cobbler and punch out a tiny heart using the same colour cardstock. I added a couple of diamantes to add some bling.

For this card I once again embossed a strip down the centre. I then stamped the image onto the embossed cardstock and again onto a punched heart. I then raised the heart onto dimensionals. I wrapped some white twine around the card and then added a simple white flower, some gems and a greeting. I then stuck the cardstock onto a pale pink card base. Very quick and easy.
I love the strip embossing technique and it does take a bit of practice but the effect is very pleasing to me.
I had a lovely flight with our youngest daughter the other day as the weather was so nice. We flew around for almost 2 hours and it was lovely to spend time with her.

I then popped up to York to spend time with our eldest daughter which was lovely, we bought some pots and gave her garden an overhaul ready for spring. Unfortunately covid is making a big reappearance in the hospital she works at so her face is suffering again

She’s still beautiful to me though.
Until next time
