Cottage Rose

Uncategorized

13 Feb

So today I have been playing with the Cottage Rose bundle, my embossing powder and my blending tools. This card is very vibrant which is a different look for me and once I had finished it I think I would have preferred the yellow bit to be at the top but hey ho. I stamped the larger flower image from the Cottage Rose stamp set twice. and then embossed them with gold embossing powder. Once it was dry I painted in the flower a little and the leaves. I then cut out two gold frames to add some interest. I blended (or attempted to) the background and then stamped and gold embossed a greeting. To finish off I added some of the gorgeous gems from the suite that comes out in March.

Here’s a close up of the embossed flower. I really enjoyed creating it an the brightness isn’t hurting my eyes too much. What do you think?

I really like this suite and will be playing with it some more over the next few days.

I am now off to feed the hounds and take them out for a walk.

Until next time
