Well this card had been a nightmare to photograph as it looks wonky in all the photos I take of it. The card is an easel card with an acetate sheet so you can see through it. I used heat resistant acetate so. I could white emboss the corner from the Around the Bend stamp set. I’m really pleased with how it turned out as the whole thing has kind of been a bit of trial and error. I’ve decided to call it an acetate easel card as I couldn’t think of a better title.

This is the side view and it still looks wonky but I promise it isn’t in real life 🙂

The card folds flat so that it can go in a standard size envelope.

This photo shows the see through part a little better.
I really enjoyed making this and I will definitely be making more in the future. I will also be experimenting with making the middle part into a shaker card so keep your eye out for that.
Our youngest daughter passed her Instrument Rating last Friday so she is one step closer to her dream of becoming a commercial pilot. We are very proud of her and may have celebrated a little over the weekend. Unfortunately our other daughter has dislocated her knee so could not join us for the celebrations.
I am now off to play some more before housework and dinner cooking takes over.
Until next time
